Valentines Date Night + LuLus

Although Valentine's Day this year was on Thursday, due to Hubs work schedule, we
 didn't celebrate until Friday night. That plan was fine by me considering it felt more "dateish" to wait until the weekend. I spent the actual holiday in sweats making a delicious risotto and saved my gettin' pretty with it until Friday evening. 

Lulu's sent me this adorable outfit to wear for Valentines and I have to say, I am completely smitten with both the skirt and the top. I knew when I was looking on Lulu's site that I wanted something a little more playful and fun and this skirt was just the ticket. It was just the right amount of pizazz for our dinner date which we had at our city's first and oldest restaurant. Dinner was delicious. Everything from the scallops to the dessert was extremely flavorful and I am hoping we get to go back again before we move in June.

    I did the same thing - going out on Friday night instead of the weekday. We were both too tired to go out mid-week after work!
