Mellow Yellow

I have a serious love for black and white. The fact that it's "in" this coming spring makes me giddy inside, but on a day like the day these photos were taken, this look needed something. Pop of color there you are. See, black and white in the sunshine = total victory. Black and white in the snow and cold = meh, not so much. Thank you yellow clutch, you totally saved the day.





Something else I love, tights and shorts. I don't think it's for everyone, but the thickness of these tweed shorts from Gap totally say winter wear to me.

  67. I've been looking through your post and often like what you wear, thought this one is really a winner. You have made me 1 excited for winter to come (as I'm in Australia) and 2. motivated to pull out my knee high boots/buy some more! My fav part of this outfit is the boots. You have made them classy without a hint of being tacky (which is done all too often!).
